Main Responsibilities

• Organising, managing and motivating all service staff in the restaurant
• Maintains Professional appearance standards
• Ensures that all menus are available and ready for use
• Willing to be hands on
• Ensures that the appearance of the staff as well as of the restaurant are up to the standards of the hotel
• Ensures the correct handling of all food stocks, as well as all the equipment in the restaurant
• Maintaining impeccable cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in the restaurant according to the ISO and HACCP standards
• Ensuring that all service staff are trained
• Organizing, supervising and providing active support of all food & beverage activities

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in food service/hospitality
• Degree/ diploma in the hospitality sector or related field will be considered a plus
• A good knowledge of food and wine
• Valid experience in a similar position at upper-class hotels or restaurants

We are looking for a friendly and organized hotel receptionist to join our team. In this position you will welcome guests to our hotel and generally attending to any needs during their stay. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring that guests experience maximum satisfaction, presenting an excellent image of our hotel. Furthermore the primary responsibilities include:

• Greet hotel quests answer any questions or concerns.
• Provide an outstanding quest experience
• Maintain an orderly front desk
• Operate computer programs and multi-line phone systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Main Responsibilities

• Manages the linen room and linen inventory.
• Oversees the cleanliness and orderliness of the linen room and ensures linens are organized by type. Assigns and instructs Housekeepers on cleaning and arranging the linen room.
• Inspects the soiled linens of the day and decides which will be washed in the hotel's laundry and which will be sent to an external laundry service.
• Delivers soiled linens to the external laundry service.
• Receives and inspects clean linens from the external laundry, resolving any discrepancies in quantity or cleanliness.
• Checks invoices from the external laundry and submits them to the Accounts Department.
• Receives and inspects new linens.
• Distributes linens for use in various hotel departments and maintains a charge log.
• Issues uniforms to hotel department staff and keeps a record book.
• Decides whether worn-out linens should be repaired (sewn) or discarded.
• Participates in the annual linen inventory.
• Reports any incidents, delays, or issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Shows respect to all hotel staff and collaborates with them impartially.
• Carries out any other related duties and responsibilities assigned.
